Sudan meeting
Tuesday 3rd February 3pm-5pm GMT.
This meeting will address the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
The discussion will consider prospects for a political settlement and pathways towards stability in the region.
The principal speaker will be Hamid Khalafallah. Hamid is a prolific Sudan expert, policy analyst and political commentator. Hamid Khalafallah is currently a PhD researcher at the Global Development Institute of the University of Manchester, researching grassroots movements and political transitions in Africa. Before that, Hamid worked for various international organisations in Sudan for nearly a decade, focusing on governance and development issues.
