AFGHANISTAN: What hope for an end to isolation?

This event will look deeper into the issue of political malaise in Afghanistan. There is still no international rapprochement with the government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and the people of Afghanistan continue to face severe economic and humanitarian challenges. The ONLY government in the entire world which has RECOGNISED the government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is Russia. Is this enforced isolation REINFORCING poor women’s rights in Afghanistan? Are Britain, America, China and France partially responsible for the misery of Afghan women because of their refusal to adopt full diplomatic relations?
