Oxford Internet Policy & Politics Conference

This conference is convened by the Policy & Internet Journal and co-sponsored by the Next Century Foundation, the Policy Studies Organisation, American Public University System, and the APUS Center for Cyber Defense.

The conference aims to promote interdisciplinary conversation about the implications of the Internet and related technologies for public policy, bringing together scholars, practitioners, NGOs, social and business leaders from a variety of backgrounds, to subject the relationship between the Internet, policy, and politics, to multidisciplinary scrutiny.

The conference takes place on Saturday 21st January 2023 at 9am to 5pm. It will be hybrid, taking place online and also at The Examination Schools, University of Oxford, 75-81 High Street, Oxford.

The NCF is holding a panel discussion as part of the conference at 3:30pm chaired by Deborah Pout (consultant and founder of the Oxford Media Network) and with William Morris (NCF Secretary General) and Paul Gutteridge (Former UK Director, Initiatives of Change Honorary Fellow, Edward Cadbury Centre, University of Birmingham) as speakers.
