NCF praised for aid delivery

Safa Mohamad posted a note on Mr. Jaafar Al-Ahmar, Head of Next Century Foundation UK, delivering the first consignment of medical aid in the earthquake hit Syria.

A delegation from the Next Century Research Charity Foundation in Britain, represented by Mr. Jaafar Al-Ahmar, delivered a batch of medicines to the Tshrin University Hospital in Latakia on Saturday, in solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that struck Syria on the sixth of February this month.

Mr. Al-Ahmar handed over these medicines to the head of the Latakia University Hospital, Dr. Louie Ad-Nadaf, in the presence of the head of the radiation department of the hospital, Dr. Fawaz Badour, on Saturday.

Mr. Red took a tour of some areas hit by the earthquake in Latakia and Jabla- which received families whose homes were destroyed or affected by the earthquake. Mr. Red briefed on the scale of the disaster and the repercussions of the devastating earthquake, and the enormous difficulties ahead of reconstruction and restoration.

Next Century Foundation representative called on international charities to rush to provide necessary assistance to earthquake victims, reconstruction and restoration process.
